hát sztem most Izrael elég keményen visszaél a katonai erõfölényével. kár volt ezt így túlreagálni - fõleg h végre a dolgok mintha a jó irányba kezdtek volna mozdulni… remélem nem lesz háború, bár a dolgok nem úgy alakulnak :( vagy ez már az?
Kedves majom, Izrael amióta csak létezik, háborúban áll. Sajnos. De Bush elnök is megmondta tegnap, hogy Izraelnek jogában áll megvédeni magát a terrorizmus elleni harcában.

Azért az utóbbi idõben már kezdett normalizálódni a helyzet. Már úgy nézett ki h a Hamasz is beadja a derekát… Kár érte… ün azt nevezem háborúnak ha egy ország egy másik ország területére hadsereggel behatol. A határvillongások sztem messze vannak a háborútól.
Az h Bush mit mond, sztem irreleváns. Nyilván h amikor egy kétes kimenetelû és elfogadottságú háború közepén állnak, nem fog az egyik leghûségesebb szövetségese ellen fordulni egy nagyszabású katonai manõver miatt.
Tehát ami a volt Jugoszláviában a kilencvenes évek elején lezajlott az nem volt háború?

Az is háború volt, de majmot idézve: “ün azt nevezem háborúnak ha egy ország egy másik ország területére hadsereggel behatol.” Na ott pedig senki nem hatolt be sehova, a Jugoszláv Néphadsereg eleve ott volt Szlovéniában is, Horvátországban is, Boszniában is, mégis háború volt. Azért mondom én, hogy Izrael háborúban áll amióta csak létezik. Nem kell ahhoz behatolni egy másik ország területére hadsereggel. A terrorista merényletek is háború szerintem. Sõt, etnikai tisztogatás is a terrorista merényletek, vajon hány zsidó költözött el miattuk Izraelbõl? Szerintem az ENSZ-nek már rég lépnie kellett volna ezügyben. Na de majd most, mert Izrael védi magát, majd most az ENSZ elítéli Izraelt. Az ENSZ mindenért Izraelt ítéli el, megírta ezt már Ephraim Kishon is a kommunizmusról szóló mulatságos és egyben tragikus könyvében.
De legalább Bush az igazak oldalán áll.

Two days of dizzying escalation, and there can be no illusions: Israel is at war.
A tactical failure by the IDF on the Gaza border barely two weeks ago prompted a drastic escalation on that front. Wednesday’s still-graver tactical blow in the North has now led to a confrontation affecting immense numbers of civilians on either side of the Lebanese border, with the potential to impact other nations as well.
There are those who have branded this latest conflict a continuation of Israel’s War of Independence, and there is no little truth in the assertion. On both of the fronts on which Israel has been drawn into heavy fighting, its enemies can make no legitimate claim to be pursuing a territorial dispute: as of last summer, Israel relinquished its hold on the Gaza Strip; in Lebanon, it pulled back to the UN-certified international border six years ago.
Except that, in both cases, the Jewish state’s assailants are indeed pursuing a territorial ambition - to unseat Israel from its own sovereign lands.
Israel has watched Hizbullah build up its offensive capability in the years since the security zone was dismantled - watched it, ever bolder, establishing its positions up against the border fence and saw it developing its missile capability - and chose not to act. That stance was misinterpreted as weakness.
Wednesday morning’s cross-border attack, complete with the barrage of shelling and rocket fire that served as cover, highlighted the IDF’s intolerable absence of room for maneuver in such circumstances. And an Israeli government with a defense minister who had genuinely hoped to oversee a return to the peace path was obligated to militarily “change the rules of the game.”
Hizbullah is a wily and well-prepared enemy, all-too-demonstrably capable of wreaking a degree of havoc in northern Israel and beyond, and the goal of dismantling its offensive capacity will not be easily achieved. Thursday’s air onslaught certainly impacted Lebanon’s civilian infrastructure; it is less clear how deeply Hizbullah was harmed.
Still, in contrast to the asymmetrical struggles against terror cells and Kassam rocket crews, the IDF has now been unleashed in a context where it can expect to use more of its strengths. And woe betide a nation under attack inside its sovereign borders if it does not decisively prevail.

Jugoszláviában elég komoly gerillaháború folyt. Nyilván az is a háború egyik fajtája. Ok, lehet - sõt biztos - h nem voltam 100%ban pontos a háború mint fogalom meghatározásával kapcsolatban, de sztem így is értitek mire akartam célozni.
Ne haragudj X, nem akarok személyeskedni de sztem nagyon egyoldalúan látod a helyzetet. Senki nem mondja h nem lehet reagálni egy-egy terrorista akcióra - mint ahogy ez mindig meg is történik -, de ennyire túlreagálni sztem legalább akkora hiba mint figyelmen kívül hagyni. Fõleg most amikor mintha már látszott volna az alagút vége.
Egyébként sztem ez az egész is elijeszti a helyieket nem csak a terroristák mivel beláthatatlan távolságokba tolja a béke lehetõségét. Addig pedig a terrorakciók sem fognak megszûnni.

And finally, to the enemies of Israel, I must tell you, we do not beat the drums of war with the same enthusiasm that you do—this is a battle for which we did not ask. We lack the bloodlust which you possess—we take no pleasure from seeing the death and destruction of your people and land as you do ours. But there is another way. Ha Izrael most sikerrel jar, az egesz vilag meg fogja koszonni neki (idovel). Igy volt ez 1981-ben is, az osirak-i atomreaktor lebombazasakor: akkor rengeteg orszag “elitelte” az akciot, ma mar a legtobben bolcs strategiai dontesnek tartjak az izraeli lepest.
