The Shoah should never be forgotten. “Never again”, IMO, just doesn’t refer to world Jewry – it refers to organized genocide of any kind, period.
So what about these two German kids I saw on the subway platform? Are they, as Germans, expected to atone for the Holocaust? I mean, they’re Germans – so why shouldn’t they be burdened with this moral labor?
